Die Hauptstadt Neu Seelands ist eine trendige Kulturmotropole: Ballet und Theater, Galerien und Shopping, Bars und Pubs. Langweilig kann es einem hier jedenfalls nicht werden!

Die 3 Wochen sind jetzt vorbei und heisst mal wieder Abschied nehmen. War aber ne tolle Zeit:

An der Westkueste sind die lustigen Pfannkuchen-Felsen. Mmh.. lecker. Hunger bekommen?

At the westcoast are the funny pancake-rocks. Mmhh.. yummy. Hungry?

.. sind Loecher in den Felsen und bei Flut spritzt das Wasser raus. Echt maechtig!

.. are wholes in the rocks and at high tide the water splashs around. Really powerful!

Der letzte Schrei in diesem Sommer sind schmale elegante Ganzkoerperanzuege, die dank ihrem Schnitt an Sommer Strand und Urlaub erinnern. Auch an kuehlen Sommertragen zu empfehlen, da der etwas dickere Stoff warm haelt.

Milford Sounds and Mirror Lake

Mirror Lake.. Spieglein, Spieglein.. wer ist die Schoenste hier im Lande?
Milford Sounds liegt im Sued-Westen NZ's. Und sehr bekannt dafuer, dass es meistens regnet. Hah! Aber nicht als wir da waren... Blauer Himmel hat uns .. oder sagen wir besser.. nur meinen Papa sogar ins Wasser springen lassen. Brrr.. wer macht denn sowas?

Milford Sounds is in the south-west of NZ's and Milford is synonymous with rain. Hah! But not when we were there... Cause of the blue sky we.. ore better... only my dad jumped in the water. Brrr... Who does someting like that?Lucky with the weather we did an awesome cruise...

Rotorua alias 'Sulphur City'

Warum 'Schwefelstadt'? Aeh, warum eigentlich. Stellt euch vor, ihr haettet 24h lang den Geruch von Schwefel in der Nase. Ihr wisst nicht wie das riecht. Denkt einfach an alte faulige Eier. Nein, danke.

Why Sulphur City'? Aeh.. why. Imagine, you would smell sulfhur the whole time. You don't know, how it smell. Think of old rotten eggs. No, thanks.

Wie auch immer. Rotorua hat dir groesste Thermalaktivitaet New Zealands. Es gibt bubbelnde Schlammpools, Geysire, heisse Quellen... und alles in den unglaublichsten Farben.

But anyway. Rotorua has the most energetic thermal acitivity of the country. There are bubbling mud pools, geysers, hot springs... and everything in incredible colours.

Wer ist denn da zu Besuch??

Oh... kennen wir die nicht? Wer haette gedacht, dass ich in Down Under Besuch bekomme. Mama und Papa Droste sind erst noch ein paar Tage nach Sydney gekommen ...

Oh... don't we know them? Who expect, that somebody will visit me in Down Under. Mama and Papa Droste came first a few days to Sydney...

..und dann sind wir zusammen nach New Zealand geflogen. Viel erlebt und fotografiert in 3 Wochen. Und danke Mama und Papa. Ich hab das beste Essen und besten Wein seit drei Monaten bekommen... Danke danke!!

..and then we flew together to New Zealand. We experienced and photographed a lot in the 3 weeks. And thanks Mum and Dad! I got the best food and wine since three months.. thanks!!

Great Barrier Reef

Wow.. kann ich da nur sagen. Das Great Barrier Reef ist das groesste Reef der Welt und wird teilweise auch als das 8. Weltwunder bezeichnet. Schnorcheln und Tauchen ist dort wie ein Traum.. das Wasser ist kristallklar und ich hab auch noch gutes Wetter erwischt...

Wow.. can I only say. The Great Barrier Reef ist the biggest one in world and sometimes it is called as the 8. worldwunder. Schnorcheling and diving is a dream there... the water is cristallclear and I had also luck with the weather...

Ganz spontan hab ich mich auch fuer ein IntroductionDiving entschieden... Richtig entspannen konnte ich mich zwar noch nicht, aber war trotzdem ein Erlebnis ..

Spontaniously I decided to make an introductiondiving... I couldn't really relax, but it was definetly an adventure..
